Meat Loaf

Serves 6 to 8

Ingrédients

  • oil
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 lb (500 g) lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) uncooked rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup (175 ml) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • pinch of thyme

Mode d'emploi

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. With oil, lightly grease a 9 x 5 inch (23 x 12 cm) loaf pan.
  3. Mix all ingredients together.
  4. Press mixture into greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake until browned, about 1 hour.
