Béchamel Sauce (White sauce)

Ingrédients

  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) flour
  • 1 cup (250 ml) milk
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Mode d'emploi

  1. In a skillet, melt butter or margarine over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour.
  3. Return to heat. Gradually add milk and whisk until sauce becomes thick and smooth.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
