French Toast

Makes 8 slices

Ingrédients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup (250 ml) milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) vanilla extract
  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) oil, butter or margarine

Mode d'emploi

  1. In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla.
  2. Dip one slice of bread at a time into mixture and let soak for 10 seconds on each side.
  3. In a lightly greased skillet, cook bread until golden brown on each side, 1½ - 2 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
