Makes 8 slices
Ingrédients
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup (250 ml) milk
- 1/2 teaspoon (2 ml) vanilla extract
- 8 slices of bread
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) oil, butter or margarine
Mode d'emploi
- In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Dip one slice of bread at a time into mixture and let soak for 10 seconds on each side.
- In a lightly greased skillet, cook bread until golden brown on each side, 1½ - 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
