Cheese Muffins

Makes approximately 12 muffins

Ingrédients

  • 4 oz (125 g) Gruyère cheese or aged Cheddar
  • 2 cups (500 ml) flour
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (250 ml) milk
  • 1/4 cup (50 ml) oil

Mode d'emploi

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a 12-cup muffin pan with muffin cups. Set aside.
  3. Grate cheese.
  4. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cheese.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix egg, milk and oil.
  6. Pour liquid mixture into dry ingredients.
  7. Stir until ingredients are just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into muffin cups.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes
